Diagnostic Reporting

Clear, carefully prepared reporting of scan findings to support discussion, follow-up and appropriate clinical decisions.

Assessment is planned according to the patient’s symptoms, pregnancy stage, clinical history and the question that needs to be answered. The examination is performed with attention to privacy and comfort, and relevant structures are reviewed systematically. Patients are told what the investigation involves and whether any preparation is required beforehand.

Findings are documented clearly and interpreted alongside the wider clinical picture rather than in isolation. The report can support further consultation, monitoring or treatment planning, while urgent or significant findings are communicated appropriately. Follow-up recommendations are explained so the patient knows what should happen next.
